MIAMI CATERING COMPANY (MCC)
At MCC we don't cut corners or purchase inferior foods to lower the costs to fool the client into believing they are getting a good deal.
As they say there are no free lunches and you really do get what you paid for. Always know you will get superior foods at fair prices from MCC. We will never lower the quality of the food in order to give you the lowest cost.

FREE ESTIMATES
We provide complimentary estimates for your event

DEPOSITS, PAYMENTS & GUEST COUNTS
We require a 25% deposit on all catering at time of booking. Miami Catering Company always provides a detailed itemized invoice for all events. We accept Visa, American Express, Master Charge and Discover. Final guest count is due 10 days prior to event. If your final guest count drops 25% or more please add 10% to food and beverage prices.

SERVICE CHARGES/ADMIN FEES
A 17% service charge is added to all drop off and buffet food and beverage charges. A 20% service charge is added to all food and beverage charges on sit-down dining. The 17% Administrative fee covers all company expenses from the first contact through the final contact and covers everything in between with the exception of food, beverages, rentals and procurement.
The 17 % Admin fee also "includes" the
4 % Procurement fee.

Other companies refer to the administration fee as a Service Fee. We don't hide this or any cost in the food price. We don't hide any costs anywhere. You will find this fee listed in the equipment/supplies column on your invoice. We believe in being upfront and including all expenses before final billing, not after.

The 17% Administrative fee is not a Gratuity, but helps us to defer expenses associated with catering events. It includes all actions such as administrative phone calls, emails, clerical correspondence, insurance, all staff payroll that works on your event away from your catered location, travel expenses (portal to portal), loading and unloading away from the catered location.  It also includes the cleaning of our equipment before, after & all other costs associated with your event. It covers all expenses before, after and away from your event. Gratuity is left to the discretion of the client. Please feel free to tip the staff if you are happy with the service provided.


STAFFING
We charge $15.00 per hour for servers, chef, bartenders, buffet & beverage attendants, coat check and valet attendants. Miami Catering Company caterers are fully trained, insured and licensed.

GRATUITY
We are an old fashioned company and we leave gratuity to your discretion

DELIVERY CHARGES
Delivery is $75.00 for drop off "Just The Pig" Pig Roasts

 

 

 

 

 RENTAL EQUIPMENT
Miami Catering Company works with a variety of rental vendors to provide you with flatware, glassware, chairs, table, tents, dance floors, portable restroom, linen service, etc. We do not mark up this equipment. We are happy to do the coordinating for you at no charge. All rentals will be billed directly to you from the rental company. If you choose to have us handle the billing through our billing system there will be a 7% up charge handling fee.

PROCUREMENT
Procurement fee, is included in the Services/Admin fees. and covers the acquisition of the appropriate goods and/or services, for your event, at the best possible total cost to meet the needs of your event in terms of quality and quantity, time, and location in order to save you money.
